My friend (and yours) The Internet

East Coast weather woes led to an incredibly slow day for me at work yesterday. What did I do instead of my regular work? I internetted, of course!

I love, love, love all the information and images and news and personal thoughts and funny stories that live on The Internet that we can easily access whenever we want. It's just amazing. I read a bunch of blogs on a daily basis, and I love it when the posts there lead to an interesting post on a blog I've never read before and wham bam thank you ma'am, I've found a new blog to read!

Whenever I start to beat myself up about not reading enough books, I remind myself that I read a ton of online content and that makes me feel like less of a slacker. I honestly do get a lot out of The Internet. It educates me about the world, teaches me how to do things, and puts me in touch with people who share their lives, thoughts, images, and personal stories. Though I've never actually met any of these people in real life, I feel like I know a lot of them. I hope that you feel like you know me from the stories I share here.

* To illustrate my point about how much internetting I do, I can't for the life of me remember where I first saw this image online.

** Isn't 'internetting' a fun word?!

  1. I also appreciate the internet for the world of fantasy sports.

I'm referring to the stats based games based off of real sports performances, not anything to do with wizardry.

  2. Another great thing about the internet - there is something for everyone.
Speaking of wizardry, remember when Brandon was into scorcery? Last I heard he was working on a spell involving wormwood.
